1970 – 1980: A “elevator” club

In the 1970s the C.D. Lealtad becomes an elevator club, quickly swapping the categories in both ascending and descending order, although on occasions such changes were due to restructuring within the Asturian Federation. In this way, in the first seasons we were active in the Second Regional, in the 73/74 in the Second Preferred Regional, in the 74/75, 75/76 and 76/77 campaigns in the Second Ordinary Regional, achieving at the end of the latter being champions and to chain two consecutive promotions, the first to the Second Preferred Regional where we competed in the 78/79 season and to the First Regional where we did it in the 79/80.

Parallel to these events, the council continued to witness the appearance of new associations, especially during the early seventies and specifically in 1972 due to the expansion in number of categories and groups that is experienced; Villaviciosa Club de Fútbol, with Enrique Pérez González in the presidency, Argüero Club de Fútbol, chaired by Enrique Pardo Morís, Estrella Azul Club de Fútbol, from Valdedios, with Juan José González Rivero and Quintueles Club de Fútbol, with Juan Fernández González, all they debutants in the Second Regional and with different sports careers in the future.
